HAWKSWORTH, BIBB INCORPORATED
Hawksworth, Bibb Inc., was incorporated in 1993 and brings together two outstanding structural engineers with long and varied careers in all aspects of their chosen profession.

Christopher J. Hawksworth graduated in 1970 in Sheffield England and has since worked on projects in Europe, Africa, the Far East, the Middle East, and for the last twenty years here in the United States, concentrating mainly on the New England region.

Andrew Bibb graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1980. He spent three years working for a Structural Engineering firm in Alaska before moving back home to New England. Since starting his own practice ten years ago Andy's projects have been located in diverse areas such as Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and throughout the United States.

Alan Ankers, our Associate Partner, graduated from Sheffield University in 1980 and joined Ove Arup and Partners before coming to the United States. While in the U.S. Alan has worked on a variety of commercial, institutional and government projects.

The company has computer aided design and drafting in house and can readily serve all of the structural consulting needs of Architects, State Authorities, and Institutional Clients.

We have worked together with Cambridge Seven on many projects over the last twenty years starting with a $30.0M Digital Equipment building in 1984 through to the recently completed Kenbar Hall classroom building for Bowdoin College. The most recent example of housing we have completed is the 9 story Marriot Hotel in Brookline. This building also houses a three story underground parking garage.
